Changing Up Your Game
About ten days ago I decided to take a break from mtts to work on my cash game. Initial results have been very good and I’m enjoying the freedom cash games offer. I have been playing 1-2hr sessions and trying to log 3-4 sessions each day. I plan to continue focusing on cash games in August but I will be playing a few FTOPS events when my schedule permits.
If you feel like your game is in a rut, try playing something different and see if it gets you back in the right mindset to play poker. It worked for me and I think it might work for you too.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift.
Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day.
What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course? Each of us has such a bank. It’s name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day.
If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against “tomorrow.” You must live in the present on today’s deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success!
The clock is running!! Make the most of today.
To realise the value of one year, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realise the value of one month, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.
To realise the value of one week, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realise the value of one hour, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realise the value of one minute, ask a person who just missed a train.
To realise the value of one second, ask someone who just avoided an accident.
To realise the value of one millisecond, ask the person who won a silver medal at the olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with. And remember time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift.
That’s why its called the present.

Coaching Update
I have been getting a lot of requests for coaching but I have been having problems trying to schedule sessions with everyone. It appears I need to implement a better system than just asking what day/time or is good for each person. So here is the new process for booking a session:
1. Check the calendar for my available coaching times. (All times are Eastern Daylight Time or GMT-5 same as Pokerstars and Full Tilt.)
2. If you find a timeslot that works for you, please send an email to mscell@optonline.net with your online screennames, PXF name (if applicable), date/time requested and your skype acount name.
3. Lessons are $125/hr for non-PXF members and $100/hr for PXF members. A 10% discount will be given if you purchase a 4 hr block. For those on a limited bankroll, you can share the lesson with 1 or 2 people at a additional cost of $10/person/hr. So a 1 hr session for a PXF sub with 2 additional people would be $120. Payments must be sent in advance and can be done either through player to player transfer on Pokerstars (mscell) or Full Tilt (mscell) or through Paypal (mscell@optonline.net). If it is a group session, the entire payment must come from one person so please settle all the details with the other attendees before shipping me any funds. Once I have received both your email and your payment, I will update the calendar and reply to your email confirming the session. I reserve the right to decline any sessions not booked 48 hrs in advance.
4. Be prepared for your session. Have your HHs loaded into the PXF analyzer prior to the session. Be logged into Skype at least 5-10 minutes before your session is scheduled to begin. Please have a working headset or microphone.
Hopefully this makes things easier for everyone.
