Want to Improve Your Tournament Poker Game?

If you play online poker and are serious about winning then you need to focus on improving your game. There are so many things you can do to get better. Here are some ideas:

  • READ A POKER BOOK – Many people can learn a lot from reading a book. I love books and have many poker titles on my bookshelf. I can honestly say I have learned something from every poker book I have purchased.
  • JOIN A TRAINING SITE – This is a great way to learn and find others who share in your love of poker. There are many good training sites out there and I am a member at many of them. Do your research and find one that is right for you.
  • GET A POKER COACH – to be the best in any field requires continuous learning. Coaches provide you with honest insight about your game and can help you get to the next level by finding your leaks and helping you correct them.
  • PLAY A LOT – all the lessons in the world will not give you experience. So you have to play, play and play some more in order to put what you have learned into practice. When you have logged enough hours at the table, some things will become second nature to you. Play at a level that you can afford and manage your bankroll properly.

For training sites, I personally recommend Pokerxfactor . I have been a member there since May 2006 and I credit them with a lot of my success in tournament play. I became a guest pro at PXF in April 2008.

I also offer private coaching. I can conduct HH reviews, create videos of your tournaments with commentary, or join you in a ghosting session. All of these methods can significantly improve your game and provide you with the skills needed to win at tournament poker. If you are interested in private coaching, please submit a comment to this article or send me a PM if you are a Pokerxfactor member.
